New Realities of Parenting event!

Since 2013, Garnet Valley School District has participated in the Pennsylvania Youth Survey (PAYS Survey). Given every two years to our 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th grade students, the survey data provides us with critical information concerning our students’ behavior, attitudes, and knowledge concerning violence, alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

Inspired by the PAYS data, Garnet Valley Community that Cares (G.V.C.T.C.) created the New Realities of Parenting program. This program is designed to heighten awareness for issues facing our GVSD children.

This year’s program took place:

WHEN: November 9th, 2022
TIME: 7:00 pm - 8:50 pm
WHERE: Garnet Valley Middle School
601 Smithbridge Road,
Glen Mills, PA 19342

This unique opportunity is available to all K-12 parents to learn, share, and support each other as a community.

***Fun activities and childcare will be offered during the GVCTC’s NROP Program.

Our breakout sessions included:
